Free options are great to test-drive a software solution, but inevitably, many hit a stage where they need that little bit more. Without further ado, let’s dive in.

Top Ten Calendly Alternatives You Might Not Know About

1. HubSpot Scheduling Software

To start with, Hubspot Scheduling software has a free version. But, you will need to pay for the starter, professional, and enterprise levels.

With full integration into its free Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, HubSpot’s scheduling software allows for access to reports and email marketing. Not to mention the added benefit of automatic contact updates and the creation of records for prospects who book appointments.

When it comes to integration, you have got the green light with well-known email providers and can remove the HubSpot branding as soon as you pay for the software.

A standard for most, it’s compatible with both Android and iOS and can sync to your Google or Office 365 calendar. Contacts can book a time with you that works for both you and them. There is no need to go back and forth on email to figure out when you are both available. You can even redirect your invitees to your website or a landing page after they hit book.

2. Book Like A Boss

You didn’t think we’d pass up the opportunity to talk about Book Like A Boss, right?

Simply put, BLAB is the easiest solution to schedule appointments and sell your products and services. And when we say easy, we mean easy! It’s not just a fancy word we chose to use. We are talking a couple of clicks and pastes to set up fully customized booking pages.

There’s not just one or two cool features, but at least a dozen that are aimed at helping you close more deals and take more appointments.

Design options aren’t a problem either; we have got those covered. We allow your landing pages to look and feel just like your brand on your website. Why would you want to be seen as anything else?

The point is to keep the experience clean, simple, and professional. You want your clients to know exactly who they are connecting with at every moment of interaction.

Calendar syncing is seamless, and there is the full toot of integrations, including Zapier, Google Calendar, Zoom, Microsoft Exchange, PayPal, Google Analytics, and more. The bottom line is that we aim to keep it as real as possible for Solopreneurs and Businesses alike.

3. Doodle

Doodle is better known as a polling app. You create a poll for a meeting time, and everyone can vote on what suits them best. Basically, it’s a great option if you need to schedule meetings with multiple people who may be in different time zones.

The drawbacks here are that there are limitations with the free version. While you can create free polls and send invitations, advanced features can only be found on paid plans.

Also, when it comes to Calendly alternatives, this one is a bit more difficult to manage. There’s a slight learning curve as it can take a little time to get used to the platform.

4. Acuity

If you’re still thinking, What can I use instead of Calendly?” then you might want to try out Acuity with its user-friendly and sleek interface.

In addition to its free option, there are three paid alternatives that won’t completely break the bank for its worth.

Its Application Programming Interface (API) serves you a whole lot of integrations that can be customized. And say goodbye to no-shows because the online appointment tools send reminders so you won’t get stood up!

Similar to BLAB, you can use Acuity’s software to accept payments. So, your contacts can book classes, private sessions, or whatever you offer and pay right there on the platform.

Rave reviews lack a little, mainly due to the cost. The free plan is restrictive, and the learning curve is a bit steep. On the plus side, it does let you customize your scheduler’s color, copy, and logo to match your company’s branding.

5. Vocus.io

Vocus.io offers more of a marketing suite. It’s not one of the share-a-link, embed in a calendar, Calendly alternatives. If you’re looking for SAML (Security Assertion Mark-up Language), hold up because you’re not going to find it here. But, you will discover white-labeling of your customer experience, pretty nifty Chrome extensions, a simple page editor, and handy analytics.

If teamwork is important to you, Vocus has it all in hand, especially if there’s a need to schedule campaigns, diverse templates, and shared inboxes.

6. SimplyBook.me

This Calendly alternative has a large-scale Application Programming Interface (API) that allows for a better connection to marketing and sales initiatives. If your business has specific needs related to email and notifications measures, then this could work for you, along with its Instagram, Google Meet, and WordPress integrations.

There are options to create portals and apps for appointment bookings. Bear in mind it’s probably going to cost you a little more, but if you check out the design functionalities, you might not mind spending a few extra dollars to get some bang for your buck!

While SimplyBook.me was mostly designed for service businesses, it can serve the functions of companies that book sales calls, for example.

It has a full range of notable offerings, such as booking appointments from Google Maps or your website. You can also create an elementary site if you don’t already have one.

7. Calendar

Why is Calendar one of the suitable alternatives to Calendly? Well, one reason is that it offers unique customization options. You will have a feature-packed selection if you decide to go with this option.

One of the cool things about this alternative is that you can do things like setting up a lunch meeting at a nearby restaurant that automatically pops up on the booking page based on your meeting times.

Its ease of use is pretty good as it provides a single view of all the meetings scheduled across calendars. This is a big time-saver for anyone who wants to streamline their workday.

Worried that you don’t have a pulse on everything that's going on? It is as easy as pulling up a report so that you are a step ahead and not out of the loop. The mobile app functionality is a thumbs up, which means that your scheduling ability never really stops as you can do it on the go.

8. Appoint.ly

If you’re looking for the simpler things in life, this alternative might be a good choice. It cuts to the chase, and the scheduling is simple. You can choose a preferred contact method and set availability schedules from daily all the way through to monthly. Really, it targets anyone who flies solo, keeping your business circles small but moving.

There are a few snags, though. There are no team scheduling or round-robin options, and unfortunately, no shared calendar view. So you will need to weigh up your priorities on this one as those are pretty hefty features that you will need to compromise on.

If you’re not big on fancy websites and most of your business is run on the socials, Appoint.ly gives you an option to schedule events and enable bookings. There’s also the option for guest logins for temporary partners, which means that a paid account isn’t necessary.

9. Setmore

As a solo entrepreneur who has to juggle a million things independently, this software can bring you joy. It is customized to meet the needs of teams who are moving, growing, and shaking all the time.

So, even if your teams are quite demanding, Setmore can step up to the plate. Staying on top of new bookings is not an issue. The web application has mobile and desktop apps that are dedicated to catering to this need.

Their support center is up to scratch so you’ll be pleased to know that you will get the help you need when it is required.

Gone are the days of double bookings. With the availability of master and staff calendars, meetings won’t fall through the cracks. And with the self-service options, clients can book and cancel their own bookings, which helps to reduce no-shows and keep everyone organized.

10. Mixmax

Mixmax, huh? It is a sales tool? Yes and no, let’s look at how this sales engagement platform could actually give Calendly a run for its money.

Sales are the lifeblood of your business. And this platform fulfills the basic requirements of being able to reach your customers and book meetings. The software is fully integrated with Google Calendar. You get one-click integration when inserting your calendar, and it’s able to handle both individual and group scheduling.

On the downside, there are limitations if you’re looking for a pure scheduling tool. They are also a little less known on the scheduling front, with just more than 10,000 customers.

To Sum It All Up

So many options, so little time. That said, choose the right solution, and you will have more of it. At BLAB, we know that our tool is leagues above the rest.

More than just scheduling software, our platform allows you to create fully customized, personally branded pages. You can invite your clients to several event types, sell your services, take payments, host webinars, and access all your team’s pages.

It is all of the good stuff with less of the hair-pulling.
